A Taiwanese-American artist currently based in Texas, USA, engaged in artistic creation and exhibiting worldwide.
Co-authored “Art Lessons from My Daughter's Paintings ”with her father, scheduled for publication in September 2024 by Move-Go Creative Co..
Her works often feature original characters set in imagined, fantastical worlds, using observations of real-life society to indirectly express personal perspectives on the world.
Having been fascinated by the expressive power of lines in comics since childhood, they use layered pigments and visible brushstrokes to reflect emotional processing in the moment, recording self-reflection and responses to various social atmospheres.

With a change of mind, the pink cat became enormous

Because all living things trusted the little cat, she became filled with love and gradually turned into a smiling big cat. The thorns along her path seemed to grow smaller and smaller, the flowers bloomed bigger and more beautifully, and the blue sky became even brighter——hope became boundless. The kind of interaction Shuma described is full of action and a sense of happiness. With everyone’s efforts, many difficulties can eventually be resolved. Let’s hope humanity puts in extra effort.

The Golden Dawn Whale

Shuma's depiction of a polar morning is especially beautiful—whales, penguins, and fish spend a wonderful day together. Humans who witness this magnificent scene would surely be moved. Shuma truly takes on a vast scope; her creations are never limited by region, species, or way of life. She hopes that all living beings on Earth can coexist peacefully.
